Graphic Design Theory AR is an app available for iOS and Android devices that allows students to more fully engage with the content of their graphic design textbook (in this case Graphic Design Theory — Graphic Design in Context by Meredith Davis) by viewing a number of previously static images in an interactive context. The various AR targets throughout the text further enhance the lessons being taught. Experiences include altering the perspective of a painting, holding a magnifying glass up to a group of magazine covers to get a view of the fines details, and a short lesson on design composition from a tiny docent. >>
