Dr. Granovetter is a medical student in the Medical Scientist Training Program at University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon. His research examines how typical neural processes may become disrupted in pediatric neurological disorders and the consequent effects that this may have on cognitive neurodevelopment. His current work focuses on brain function and plasticity following pediatric epilepsy surgery, and he has a long-term interest in developing approaches to better predict cognitive outcomes associated with epilepsy treatment.
